Kumara Parvata

Kumara Parvata, a division of the Western Ghats, is one of the splendid peaks in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka with a height of about 4,000 ft. It provides a great sight of lights of Somawarpet town, from the top of the Parvata. It stands as a imposing picturesque background to the Kukke Subrahmanya Swamy Temple.

Shivalingas having six faces, and are known as Kumaralingas. This is a popular trekking spot in Kukke and many adventurous tourists visit here to have this beautiful but difficult treks in Kumara Parvata.
