Amidst the lush green coffee plantations of Coorg, lies Kadagadal mere 7  kms short of District Headquarters Madikeri (Mercara), on the Madikeri – Sidhapur road. Silver Brook Estate, Coorg homestay, in Kadagadal, is an idyllic setting for a peaceful getaway. Nestled amidst vast coffee plantations of Coorg, a perennial stream flows through it. Pepper corn vines embrace the stately silver oak trees and fruit and flowering trees grow in  abundance making the Silver Brook Estate Coorg homestay a haven for  birds and butterflies.

The main bungalow in Silver Brook Estate, Coorg,  has been created with relaxation and comfort in mind. It has four executive bedrooms with attached washrooms, Sitting and Dining areas with a common washroom, a kitchen and a huge, running veranda which ensures privacy to all bedrooms.

Each executive room has LCD TV with TataSky connection and complimentary Tea / Coffee arrangement.

Apart from the main house, there is a Suite cottage which is attached yet exclusive from the main bungalow. The suite cottage has one bedroom with an attached washroom, a hall with queen – size bed with another attached washroom, a kitchen and a private sit out. The cottage can comfortably accommodate a family of four with an exclusive and private use of the cottage.

The entire house has been carefully planned. The architecture is best suited to the local climate incorporating natural heating processes. The floor tiles used are made individually by artisans from a remote village in Tamil Nadu, with an endeavor to encourage their artistry. In order to preserve the natural trees, the windows and doors of the cottage have been crafted from old wood, recovered  from demolished homes all over India.

Come savor the wide variety of pure vegetarian or non-vegetarian gourmet food served in Silver Brook Estate, Coorg.

The choice can be as varied as a complete meal of local Coorg cuisine or a Continental or Indian meal.

The food served is authentic and specially cooked under the able guidance of the owners themselves.

Breakfast is included in the room rent.  Lunch and dinner are optional on payment of Rs.250 for a Buffet meal.

At Silver Brook Estate Home, we have two kinds of accommodation: Executive rooms and The Suite Cottage

Executive Rooms:

There are 4 executive rooms, two part of the main bungalow and two as a separate unit. Each executive room has privacy since each one has a separate entrance and sitting area. The executive rooms are also equipped with:

* Tea / coffee arrangement
* Lockable wardrobe
* Private entrance

Suite Cottage :

There is one Suite Cottage which has one bedroom with attached bath, a hall with another attached bath, a kitchen and a private veranda. The bedroom has a king size bed and the hall has a queen size bed. All the facilities of the executive rooms are also available in the Suite Cottage.
